It’s a sad day – Dad says Gingerbread man is too broken to keep fixing anymore. Dad fixed it twice in one day during the week and me broke it twice 😊.
Gingerbread man was one of me first toys – it hasn’t done too bad really. Fluffy white bunny toy has only been mine a few weeks and it’s already lost a few limbs and ears 😊
Not many of me toys have got all their bits now and dad’s sewing skills have got better – there’s always a positive side to everything if you look for it me thinks.
No pooch school this week – no stickers – Jim is on holidays. But me still learning – every day is a Marcus learning day remember! Huge lessons this week – being off lead and playing whilst being safe and going back to dad when he calls. Still doing the bed lesson and also practicing longer waits whilst dad isn’t visible – they are hard sometimes, especially if me knows dad has treat in his hand. Me moves early – no treat!
All this off-lead playing is keeping me fit and strong – it’s also making me sleeps more. Dad gets up for work and makes a hot drink whilst I take me sleepy time to go downstairs for a pee in the garden. Then me goes back upstairs to dads’ bed – it’s still warm and smells nice of dad so me jumps in and sleeps again. This is a hard life! Me always has to have a gentle chew and lick of dads hand in the morning – just to make sure it’s still him. Dad is a bit special to me so me wouldn’t want an imposter. Dad trusts me not to hurt him.
Hooman postie has just given dad some parcels – me sure dad said to me they were new toys for me to destroy (oops play with!) Dad gets his words confused sometimes.
Me thinks me has 3 secure field trips this weekend – they are nice as it’s totally safe and we can really relax. Being outside in the fresh air is nice as well. Dad said we must practice off lead heel walking – dunno what that is but if it’s lessons it means treats so it’s good with me.
More hoomans keep saying how happy and well behaved me is. Me was a bit of a naughty pooch though the other day – dad had less beef in his roll than he expected! Me did leave it for a while but it smelt soo scrummy – it tasted nice as well! Never mind – dad is welcome to some of me pooch food – me will share!
Me wonders what me can steal for lunch today……..
