**Marcus**

What a week – puppy school twice this week – baby puppy school was good and me smashed it. It was a bit sad though as only one other pooch was there and the missing pooches never told Jim they were missing. Bad manners me thought – respect needed to other people. Me got stickers though and me did well.

Older puppy school was hard – new pooches and more new hoomans meant more distractions. Brain hurt and me wasn’t as good with all this new stuff around – but me did OK and learnt things. Yeah me got stickers!

Lots more bashing Bear – also met a few other pooches out – me ignored them but they barked at me. Dunno why coz me isn’t scary – lots of hoomans say me is cute. Grrrrrr!

Me didn’t like the hoover thing when me first arrived. Scary it was. Dad hoovered the green stuff outside yesterday – me not scared of that hoover. Good job he did hoover it as the green stuff was really long and tickled me belly and bum bits when me went to toilet. Me paws changed colour to green when me played on the wet cut stuff.

Older puppy school made dad think – he did sit me down and told me that even though he is hugely proud and really happy with my progress, we do still have to keep practicing the basics and extending them. If you don’t keep practicing things you might just forget them. Me trusts dad so it’s all good. Everyday is a Marcus school day – even if it’s not an obvious lesson. Dad knows best.

We practice lots of things whilst at home and out. Me recall and off lead stuff is coming on – dad puts me on me lead if there are new things around that he doesn’t like or trust. Some hoomans attitude is just wrong we have decided. Better safe than sorry 🙂

Three lots of secure field time in three days – sun shining, blue skies, peace and safety. No need to look out for cars, stupid hoomans or uncontrolled pooches. It’s so nice to “just be” and run free in safety.  Even when me off lead is totally good in very open spaces dad said we will still sometimes go to a secure field just for the safety, peace and quiet of me and dad.

So our thought this week is that we need to add on to our “Tuple” word from last week. Three more letters added – (T) Trust, (A) Attitude and finally (R) Respect. The new word on the street going forward is now officially “Tartuple”

  • (T) Time
  • (A) Attitude
  • (R) Respect
  • (T) Trust
  • (U) Understanding
  • (P) Patience
  • (L) Love
  • (E) Effort

Paws up all me bruvvers and sisters pooches who share “tartuple” with their hoomans. Maybe some hoomans in this life need to learn and use that word amongst each other.

All this thinking hurts along with running so no prize for what me is going to be doing next……

Tartuple kick ass sleepy wuuufffssss….
