Sooo…. Second week in the new Marcus and dad house.

So much going on…… we had a deer in our front garden, me saw duck things on our walk and we saw a three legged heddgie hog. It was late at night and me just stopped by the roadside as me heard a noise. Dad stood there as he always does when me stops. He heard the rustling noise too and after a few minute things we saw heddgie 🙂 Heddgie had a leg missing or broken as it walked funny. It crossed the road slowly and made it safely to the other side. Dad watched out for scary motor car things so that they didn’t hurt heddgie. If any cars had come then dad would have stopped them. Heddgie was safe and me has called her Henrietta Heddgie. Heddgies rock.

New puppy school this week – different from other puppy school at old home but still useful. Every days a Marcus school day don’t forget!

Been a busy week with hoomans in and out of the house – dad has a cunning plan with new hoomans. Me goes on the lead in the house when new hooman arrives – after a few minute things of being on the lead me calms down a bit and me doesn’t start to be a kangaroo – then me can say hello gently to hooman. It works so far!

Me had road trip out to the shops today – went to one place called a garden centre and pet shop – me nose was super busy. Nice hoomans there said hello to me and even said how good me was. Little do they really know Marcus!

Me has walks every day and dad has decided to keep doing the same walk each day so me gets used to where we are. Me goes off lead and bounces in the fields – watch out Tigger – me can bounce high.

Today was just Marcus and dad – no strangers in our house. Dad did some jobs around the house and me either helped or slept. Dad is always thoughtful and makes sure that me emotional bucket never over fills. Dad took me to the secure field today and me ran and played ball. It was so much fun to be free. Our back garden is so overgrown as the last owners didn’t look after it. It’s fun rummaging through the bushes though! Dad says he will sort it next weekend so me had better make the most of it now.

Me feels like me new house is so familiar to me now that me has been here ages. Me knows where everything is and me is comfortable. The Marcus moral this week is that whilst change can seem frightening – it can work out for the best.
