Oh my poochie world – what a mega busy week me has had.
After me little vanishing trip last week then the field walks this week have changed a bit – me walks the longer way now and stays on me really long lead. It’s good really as me can still run and explore – it’s safer as well as the green things in the fields are now taller than dad and we could both easily get lost. At least this way dad won’t get lost in the green things either so me can keep an eye on him. Marcus and dad team work rules 😀.
One night we walked past a house and there was a pooch in the garden behind the fence. Dad talked to her hoomans and we chased each other up and down the garden along the fence. It was fun.
We got invited to Loki and Bunny’s for food – their garden was huge and we ran and played. Loki and Bunny are quiet pooches and Loki is very shy but me likes playing with them. Bunny didn’t forget about dads left pocket with treats in though 😡. Me don’t mind sharing treats really. Dad gave each of us a smelly fishy skin thing – Bunny had three of them whilst me was still eating my one. Bunny is a fish monster! Loki was still eating hers and me decided to go play with her – Loki is always very quiet in the park but she growled at me and really told me off. Dad says it was OK though as it was her house and she doesn’t like sharing food. Me was also very tired but all hoomans were understanding of us pooches. Me slept so good that night.
Me friend Bear from our old house came to visit – me remembered him and we had fun playing. He’s huge and fluffy.
On Saturday we went shopping for something – we stayed in the shop for a long time whilst dad talked to the shop hooman about colours and things – me was soo well behaved that me got lots of treats and fusses. Shop hooman said me was lovely and she wanted to take me home. New experiences and surroundings – me world keeps growing! How big can it get?
Later on that day we met Loki and Bunny in the park. Me was pleased to see them both. Loki was quiet again but we played and explored. She decided to run and me joined in – she must have a rocket in her bottom coz she is super fast and me could never catch her. Me was so tired that me had to have a lay down in the grass.
Loki and Bunny came back to our house for a bit after the park – Loki is very shy and nervous in new surroundings so we are going to do it again so she gets used to it. Bunny just wants treats!
We had our usual Sunday pooch meet – it’s lots of fun and Fallon was there so we played loads. One pooch even climbed into my space in the car and stole one of me fluffys – grrrrr – dad rescued fluffy so all is well😀.
Dad says me confidence and social skills have come on huge amounts and keep doing so. It just goes to show that little miracles can happen if you work at things. We must never forget the Marcus word – Tartuple. Who remembers what it means?
Dad said he has something really huge planned for us next week and all me training and things me has learnt will make sure me boss it. Dad has total confidence in me and me him. Teamwork! Train for the situation not in the situation he says. Dunno what we are doing but knowing dad it will be fun and interesting.
