So – it’s been a year to the day…

That a very nervous and reactive pooch was handed to me at stupid o’clock in the morning; he then decided that he needed to scent me with what seemed like a bucket full of wee. I suppose he was making sure the pooch world knew I was his 😀.

The world unexpectedly changed again for me (and therefore Marcus) a few weeks later but we got through it and we have come out the other side together in a very different but much better position than we were. Improvise, adapt and overcome!

Hopefully some of our stories, challenges and experiences have helped or entertained others in the LCR family. It’s not always been easy – sometimes it’s been seriously bloody hard work – (especially when you only have yourself to fall back on with no other support) ; but sure as eggs are eggs – it’s been worthwhile! You only get out what you put into a scenario.

My fur baby buddy is growing into a nice young adult pooch – not perfect in some peoples eyes but he’s perfect for me (and vice versa) – more importantly he is happy, healthy, loved and has a good life! We understand each other and have a good routine and relationship. Do I give a damn what other people think – NO!

In lots of ways he has been a catalyst for some huge life changes and revelations. Do we choose the pooch or is the pooch chosen for us – take a few moments and think about it!

We are going to be taking a break for a while from this online world and not posting as we have been in the past. The next chapter of our story will continue offline.

Keep well, keep safe and never give up! We as pooch guardians have a HUGE moral responsibility to our pooches. Save one life – save the world entire. When the going gets tough – the word on the street is “TARTUPLE”.

Thank you all for joining us in the Marcus and dad journey. We will see you again – but not yet!
