The Second Year

It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly two years since Marcus was put into my arms.

It’s been an interesting journey, full of challenges and happy moments along with a few sad ones. I’m sure some thoughtful person somewhere said you can’t have the up’s without the down’s!

His achievements and his confidence growth have been almost off of the scale. I have put bucket loads of effort and time into him and it’s paid huge dividends and has been totally worth it. Isn’t that what a responsible pooch guardian should do though?

From being a nervous and reactive pooch to smashing the KC Gold Award and dealing with numerous situations which involved lots of people and dogs – I can categorically say that I couldn’t be any prouder and happier than I am with him.

Perfect he’s not – and I’m under no illusions to the contrary – but he’s perfect for me and is therefore my perfect pooch – I don’t give a flying hoot what others think or say.
